she has an enclosed cubby hole area in her hutch that has lots of bedding for her to burrow in, so is she fine being outside in the cold?Is my rabbit OK outside in her hutch in the cold?
I've seen rabbits outside in a hutch below zero F. They have a great winter coat.Is my rabbit OK outside in her hutch in the cold?
She's ok, you can't bring her in now because she will be much too warm with her winter coat. As long as she's out of the elements and is properly fed and has lots of straw to keep her warm she should be ok. Consider putting her in the garage at night if its going to be extra cold or stormy.
It depends on how cold it gets outside, and don't forget about the lows in the night! Chances are, she's okay, but if it gets much below freezing, I would bring her in. Better safe than sorry!
