i think its as soons as they are weaned. they should be eating as much hay as possible, preferably 24 hours a day xxAt What Age Can You Put Unlimited Amounts Of Hay Out For A Lop Eared Rabbit?
They can have hay in the amount you want to feed from the time they leave the nest. it is often the first food a kit eats. hay is a good thing to have for them available all the time.

Depending on the type of Lop he is (Holland, Mini, French, etc) you should limit his intake of the pellets you feed. Each breed is fed a different amount depending on the breed and size. He can easily become overweight and that is not healthy for him at all. But hay does not increase fat and is good to keep his digestion working properly.

I would limit the carrot and apple to once a week though as these things contain a lot of sugar and can also produce loose feces and can increase fat weight.
Never. It will get fat and can overeat and get sick or even die. Find out exactly how much he'll eat so he gets enough, but the food doesn't stay in his cage overnight. That's how much he should eat per day, either all at once or half in the morning and half at night. It's good if he finishes it within one hour. Hay should be a treat, at the most three or four times a week and only a little bit. Same with veggies and fruits.
from 8weeks old.my partner works with rabbits and owns 2. they should have hay 24 hours a day, they can never have to much, it must always be available clean and fresh, get rid of any they have been a loo on.it is 90% of their diet and it helps keep their teeth worn which grow continuously.they only need about 30-40grams of nuggets or muesli once a day(depends on the weight of the rabbit).rabbits will eat everything you put in front of them, but they can get bloat which in bad cases they can over eat and be it could be fatal.apples and carrots are treats which should be given once a week,to much can upset their stomach and give them diarrhoea.rabbits can survive only on hay.
um a rabbits main diet is grain hay and grass and it really dosint matter wat age beacuse they will eat wat they need

normaly only half an apple as a treat carrot is a treat as well but thhey dont need it
