What is that giant lump thing on the front of a rabbit?

i just dont want my rabbit to get fat because it eats so much! I give it grass and pellets and when it doesnt have food in its cage it eats the litter. What is that giant lump thing on the front of a rabbit?
yes the fluffy fur under a rabbit's neck is a dewlop. Very normal and doesn't mean it is fat. Feed the rabbit high fibre food. Research how much is the appropriate amount for your rabbit's weight. Don't feed it 2 cups of vegetables like the other person said. They are like treats! This could cause diarrhea and that is bad for rabbits as they will die of dehyrdration quickly. Only feed one baby carrot or a slice of banana daily. Timothy Hay is good for digestion. Rabbits get all nutrients from their pellet food. Veggies and fruit are treats and not necessary. Also no veggies/fruits until 4 months of age. What is that giant lump thing on the front of a rabbit?
What exactly are you feeding your rabbit? I'm no expert, but I'm not sure that roll means that it's fat. Don't quote me on this.

But I DO know that Rabbits should be fed a high-quality pellet such as Oxbow, and only very limited amounts. They should have a large pile of hay in their cage at all times, as well as lots of water. They need 2 cups of veggies a day to get the nutrients they need, and not all carrots, either!

A large cage, such as the ones seen on guineapigcages.com with modifications for rabbits also helps. Rabbits need exercise, such as daily out of the cage time for several hours.
Sounds like you're referring to the dewlap. Dewlaps are more prominent in female rabbits and it doesn't necessarily mean your rabbit is overweight.
It could possibly be an abese or tumor. But if you should see the percentege of fat on the food. Check in with the vet.
