How much does a rabbit cost, including the cage and stuff to satrt off with, then how much per month on food?

i wanted to get a rabbit. i was wondering how much does all the gear cost, then how much does the rabbit cost, then how much do the cost per month in food and insurance. plus how much times will it take up cleaning it.How much does a rabbit cost, including the cage and stuff to satrt off with, then how much per month on food?
the others were right on prices for the rabbit and cage.


the rabbit is generally 30 to 40, from a breeder or petstore. 2 of mine were free, one is one of their babies, and the 4th was $8 from tractor supply. a good cage you will spend at least $70 on.





For food for my 4 rabbits, i buy a 50 lb bag of food and it lasts a little over a month, its $15. Shavings I can usually make one big bag(3 cubic feet) last about a month, $7. Hay, about $5, and whatever veggies you may give.





I have got some cheap toys that are good. I bought cat toys with bells in them for a couple $ and hanging bird toys for $1 each.How much does a rabbit cost, including the cage and stuff to satrt off with, then how much per month on food?
rabbit - 拢25+

Food - 拢3+ ( for a bag of rabbit food anyway )


toys - any price as it depends on what toy you are buying


vets - (dont no how much it costs to get nails trimmed)





Also, a rabbit could cost hundreds even though it seems impossible to cost that much - it can costs hundreds if it gets ill and needs treatment.





So, when you get a rabbit make sure you have enough money if he/she gets poorly unfortunately

$60 minimum for a homemade CC cage because pet store cages are too small.

Once a week a thorough cleaning of the cage will be required but stuff will need to be done daily.
