Are rabbits social enough to make rabbit friends quickly?

I was wondering, are rabbits social, and do they like to make other rabbit friends.

Cause I was thinking, I wonder if anyone would ever have kinda like play dates with rabbits.

Like, would rabbits be OK to take to another rabbit owners house and let them play and run around in a room?

If you went to one rabbit's house for one hour would the rabbits go socialize and play, or would they hide and be shy?Are rabbits social enough to make rabbit friends quickly?
Rabbits arnt as social as most animals, males tend to fight with one another if they are not neutured but saying that there is the rare occasion where some will get on but mostly only if they have grown up together. Females its a similar thing if they grow up together they are fine but some will fight if put together but not as much as males over time you can bond most females with some patience though. Are rabbits social enough to make rabbit friends quickly?
Two rabbits that have not grown up together will fight sometimes to the death. Rabbit play dates are not a good idea. Both bucks (males) and does (females) will fight the same sex equally. They can both be territorial and the does are usually more so than the bucks. This is because they are the ones that carry and kindle the kits when they are bred.

Also rabbits can carry diseases that pass form one rabbit to another easily, some of the time they are only carriers of the disease and never show signs or become ill because of the disease. They can just make other rabbits sick. One of these diseases is Pasturella (Snuffles), a rabbit can be treated for it with antibiotics but it will always have the disease and can pass it to another rabbit. Snuffles is not curable just treatable.

This is why responsible rabbit breeders and owners who bring in a new rabbit or rabbits, quarantines them for at least 30 days.

I wouldn't take the chance of making my rabbit sick justbecausee you want it to play with it's own kind. rabbits are not like humans or even dogs and cats. They can live quite well by themselves with just the love and care of their owner.
I owned a few rabbits a couple years ago, but I never saw them ';play'; together like you think of dogs and cats playing.

I'm sure they would prefer a buddy to being alone, most animals do; but i want to say that in the wild, rabbits are solitary creatures.
Noooo!!!! It depends on the rabbit. I have 2 rabbits and the older one hates the younger one. You have to be careful, rabbits are territorial and they will fight. Do your research before you put your bun in a situations like that.
Yes there just like people.

Rabbits are very friendly animals and are great comapny and fun.

Some rabbits will not get along wiht other rabbits, just like people.

They are all unique and individual.
As long as they are not boy and boy. And if they are boy and girl its probably not a great idea either. But rabbiuts love friends and girl and girl would be great!
yes they love friends
