Pampers fragrance free baby wipes will disolve the stuff and clean it up. You can't train her not to sit in it, but you can give her a cage that has holes large enough for the droppings to fall through. They are usually called rabbit cages.
It shouldn't be so messy unless her food is too rich or you are giving her too many greens..I have a rabbit and I want to clean her bottom. Its gross and she cant/wont clean it. How do I clean it?
Rabbits should not be housed on large mesh wire floors as it can lead to problems with their feet. Rabbits should be able to clean their own anus and if they can't it means that there is another problem that needs solving first.

Try toilet paper or a damp paper towel. That works when my kitties can't clean themselves because of illness or whatever.
I once had a little rabbit when I was young. I bought it from a pet store. In the store I was told by the person there that little rabbits (when they are young) they eat their droppings, so don't try too hard in keeping their cage too clean because they actually need it. It sounds disgusting but I was told that they do that, so... I guess you can clean their bottoms but leave at least some of their doings around.

Is your rabbit a long haired one? If so, you might want to consider getting her a haircut around her bottom. But before you try, get some expert advice. For now, just wipe it off w/ a damp paper towel. Is your rabbit litter-trained? If not, look into it. And simply clean the cage religiously.
Take some wet cotton wool and clean his bottom and also Cleon the cage at least 4 to 5 times a day rabbits r very messy creatures
Use unscented baby wipes. I use them on my dogs butts and they are just peachy.

You must find a way of cleaning your rabbits bottom otherwise the flies will lay eggs there and the maggots will eat her from her bottom. I know this sounds awful but it is true, she will be eaten alive.
Keeping the cage clean is also VERY important despite what others have told you. Hygiene is VERY important to your pets health.

Rabbits do eat the first pass of waste every morning to get the most nutrients from their food. This is called copraphagia and is a natural process. If a rabbit is not doing this it is probably overweight meaning it can't reach it's own anus to eat the fecal matter. The rabbit needs to go on a diet of mainly hay and plenty of exercise. Make sure it is given plenty of time out of the hutch and do not give it too many treats. Initially you need to clean the rabbits anus daily to stop fly strike. Flies will lay their eggs in the sticky feaces and they hatch out very quickly and burrow into the rabbit causeing death within a couple of days.
You can clean the rabbit with a cloth and warm water and then dry it with paper towels, this should be done as ofen as it is needed until the rabbit is lean enough to eat its own feacal matter.

This can be difficult. I had a friend who was able to clean her bunny's bottom regularly, but it was hard! If your rabbit is calm, you should be able to just lower his back end into some warm water, and gently lather up - use proper small animal shampoo. It may be necessary to snip some of the fur off - be VERY careful and get someone to help you - use blunt scissors and don't put them near the skin.
If the poo can't be shampooed off bunny, it will be necessary to take him to the vet to have it done under sedation. You will need to get this sorted, as you'll know, because the bunny will be at risk from flystrike, especially if he's an outdoor bunny - this can be fatal. The vet can also shave the bunnies bottom while he's sedated to make it much easier to clean in future. Good luck!
As for sitting in own urine - you could use a layer of wood pellet cat litter in the straw or whatever. This would absorb the urine so it can't soak into your bunny.

If bunny's bottom is caked %26amp; dry, gross as you say, it calls for
bathing her bottom like a baby. In the kitchen sink, fill with 4';
of warm water and squirt a blop of shampoo to make a nice
bubble bath. If double sinks, fill other with warm rinse water.
Holding her lower paws with your left hand and her body with the right hand, slowly submerge her bottom. If you need gloves for your pet, work her fur until clean with your gloved hand. Lift
her out onto towel over your shoulder and completely wrap her
so she doesn't fight you. When near dry, return her to indoor/
outdoor cage that has triple amount of wood shavings you use.
A rich layer will allow urine to drain into bark. A cat scoop will
help pick up worse messes daily from her laying in them.
A bleach wipe will sanitize the kitchen sinks and counter.
Wet wipes are okay for a little bit of poots. Next time, she may
need a bath with a flea shampoo. Season is about here.
A Petco or Petsmart has all you need for a comfy rabbit.
